Jeff Frakes, Ph.D.
Jeff Frakes, Ph.D. serves as CEO of Performance Innovations, Inc., a company that provides coaching and conferencing in the Human and Organization Development fields. This includes Internet based online conferencing for OD professionals throughout the world as well as management coaching, training and assessments. He is a Field faculty member for the Organizational Management program at Fielding Graduate University and assists in their business development efforts as well.
Dr. Frakes has over 20 years experience as a Human Resources Executive in manufacturing and service industries. He has an extensive background in value-added approaches at the corporate and plant levels resulting in substantial, demonstrated cost savings. Jeff also has experience in start-ups, implementing growth cycles and managing organizational change.
Dr. Frakes has also contributed extensively to the use of Statistical Process Control in the administration and monitoring of drug dosages for those with neurological diseases. He very much enjoys finding ways to implement useful practices in areas other than those in which they were originally intended.
Jeff is currently finishing a book entitled “Bridging Six Sigma Quality and Organizational Behavior which is due to be published by the end of the year. He also currently serves on the Executive Board of the Organization Development Network.
Dr. Frakes holds a Ph.D. with an emphasis in Organizational Development from the University of Cincinnati as well as a Masters Degree in the same field. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Ruth Middleton House, Ed.D.
Ruth Middleton House, Ed.D. is President of Middleton-House & Company, a company that helps levels, groups, and people work together for improved results—both within and across organizations. She has over 20 years experience in consulting across a variety of industries: engineering, telecom, government, and education.
Dr. House is author of It’s Time to Change the Way You Change and The Human Side of Project Management and co-author with Martin Broadwell of Supervising Technical and Professional People. She is a member of Women’s Transportation Seminars, an associate member of the American Council of Engineering Companies, and a member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. She is an invited contributor of articles on management to The Georgia Engineer. In addition, she teaches Managing Organizational Change for two non-traditional universities. She is on the Senior Faculty of Keller Graduate School of Management and the Adjunct Faculty of Fielding Graduate University.
Dr. House holds an Ed.D. with a concentration in organizational learning from the University of Georgia; an MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of Alabama, and a BS in Education from Samford University.
